The death of a family member is a stressful event in anyone’s life. The amount of stress can be greatly reduced by efficient and effective administration of the deceased person’s Estate.

BMC Lawyers has specialist experience in acting for executors, administrators and beneficiaries of Estates. If someone has left a valid Will we can obtain a Grant of Probate and assist with all aspects of completing the Estate Administration.

If someone has left a valid Will we can assist the executors in obtaining the required Grant of Probate from the High Court. If there is not a valid Will, BMC can provide assistance in obtaining the correct court order to enable the efficient and effective administration of the Estate.

We have years of experience in facilitating resolutions in respect of family disputes that can occur at this time. We can advise you on mounting or defending various claims that can be made against Estates, including challenging the validity of a Will, Family Protection Act claims and Property (Relationships) Act claims.
